Permanent, full-time post (working 35 hours per week) | Salary: up to £25,558 per annum

Location: Derwentside College, regional travel will be required as part of the role

What will you do?

As a Work Placement Coordinator, you will play a key role in connecting learners with high-quality work placement opportunities across a wide range of sectors.  While a significant part of the role will involve sourcing and developing T Level industry placements, you will also work across the College to support and coordinate a wider range of work experience opportunities, ensuring learners from different curriculum areas can access meaningful employer engagement and workplace learning experiences.  Working closely with employers, learners and curriculum teams, you will develop new placement opportunities, build lasting employer relationships and support learners throughout their placement journey.  This is a varied and rewarding role where no two days are the same, offering the chance to make a real difference to learners' futures while helping local businesses develop their workforce of tomorrow.

The Work Placement Coordinator will be based within a vibrant, solution-focused Business Development team, working collaboratively with colleagues who are passionate about creating opportunities, building partnerships and delivering positive outcomes for learners and employers alike.

This is a permanent, full-time post working 35 hours per week.  Regional travel will be required as part of the role; therefore, use of your own transport, a current valid driving licence and business insurance is essential.  Starting salary will depend upon an individual’s level of experience.
