Beauty Therapy

These courses will prepare you for a career in the popular and highly demanding beauty therapy industry.  Our courses will also develop your creativity and skills leading to a wide range of employment opportunities, for example in salons, health spas and on a cruise liner. 

These practically-based programmes will teach you how to perform facials, manicures, pedicures, waxing, eye treatments and make-up at Level 2 and more advanced skills at Level 3, such as facial and body electrotherapy and massage.

Additional workshops that will further enhance your skills and employment are offered on the Level 2 and Level 3 Diploma. Your training will take place in a well-equipped, professional working salon ‘The Retreat’, where you will provide treatments for a wide range of clients.

Learning Methods:

You will mainly be based in the colleges salon where you will observe demonstrations and practise treatments on each other before you progress onto paying clients.  Alongside the practical sessions, there is a significant amount of theory based lessons which requires you to take notes, listen to presentations, work interactively and complete written workbooks and assignments.
