Permanent, full-time post (working 37 hours per week) | Salary: £43,413 plus R&R Premia of £2,180 per annum

Location: Derwentside College, regional travel will be required as part of the role

Derwentside College is entering an exciting phase of growth in its engineering provision, underpinned by recent investment in new, industry-standard facilities to support the delivery of our Engineering T Level.  Alongside this, our apprenticeship programmes continue to expand, enabling us to train and develop some of the region’s most promising future engineers.  To support this growth, we are seeking a visionary Curriculum Leader with the energy, expertise, and ambition to lead our engineering team and meet the high expectations of our learners and industry partners.

This is a unique opportunity for an experienced and forward-thinking Curriculum Leader to shape the future of technical education at Derwentside College.  You will lead a skilled and committed team, delivering a broad and evolving portfolio of programmes.  Your role will be pivotal in driving innovation, enhancing curriculum design, and aligning provision with local and regional skills priorities.  We are looking for a candidate with a strong engineering background, a deep understanding of emerging technologies, and a proven track record of successful leadership and project delivery within further education or training.  Alongside your leadership responsibilities, you will retain a small teaching commitment, enabling direct engagement with learners and the curriculum while modelling excellence in technical education.

This is a permanent, full-time post (working 37 hours per week).  Travel will be required as part of the role; therefore use of your own transport, a current valid driving license and business insurance is essential.
