Electrical Installation
This two-year course is ideal for anyone seeking a career in construction, with a focus on electrical installation and maintenance, plumbing, or heating systems.
A key element of the programme is a minimum of nine weeks/45 days spent on an industry placement with an employer, providing valuable hands-on experience and a direct insight into the workplace.
The course blends classroom learning with practical training, preparing students for employment, a higher-level apprenticeship, or further study in the construction sector.

Occupational Specialisms:
- Electrical Installation and Maintenance
- Low-voltage Systems, Wiring, Diagnostics
Industry Placement:
- A minimum of 315 house (45 days/9weeks) in an industry relevant setting
Entry Requirements:
- You will typically need five GCSEs at grade 4 or above, including English Language and Maths. However, individual circumstances may be considered at enrolment
Progression Routes:
- Higher-level Apprenticeship
- University; Electrical Engineering, Building Services Engineering
- Employment in roles such as; Trainee Electrician, Building Services Technician, Building Constrols Engineer
