The Kings Trust
About The King’s Trust
The King’s Trust is a leading UK charity dedicated to helping young people aged 16–30 build confidence, gain skills, and move into work, education, or training. Founded in 1976, the organisation has supported over a million young people to transform their lives and achieve their potential.
What We Do
We work with young people facing challenges such as unemployment, low confidence, or barriers to education, providing practical support and opportunities to help them succeed.
Our programmes include:
- Skills & Training – Hands-on courses that build confidence, teamwork, and employability skills
- Enterprise Support – Guidance, mentoring, and funding to help young people start their own businesses
- Employment Programmes – Support with CVs, interview skills, and connecting with employers
- Personal Development – Activities that improve wellbeing, resilience, and self-belief
Our Impact
Every year, The King’s Trust helps thousands of young people:
- Gain qualifications and practical skills
- Move into jobs, apprenticeships, or further education
- Improve their mental wellbeing and confidence
- Build brighter, more independent futures
Why It Matters
Many young people face significant barriers that can limit their opportunities. The King’s Trust provides the support, tools, and belief they need to overcome these challenges and create positive change in their lives.
