Diploma in Construction Skills - Maintenance Operations

These qualifications provide the practical and technical skills needed to become a craftsperson, this is college based course which gives you real life hands on experience needed to successful work in the construction industry.  You will learn the basics of Plastering, Painting & Decorating, Tiling, Carpentry & Joinery, Brickwork and General Construction.

A recognised level 1 construction qualification in the trade area, GCSE C’s in Maths & English or relevant Functional Skills would be advantageous.

Throughout the length of the course you will learn about the Construction industry in a number of ways which include practical workshop sessions, online learning and theory sessions where you will learn about all the aspects of construction crafts.

After successful completion of the course you could progress onto a Construction Diploma level 3 qualification, apprenticeship or employment in your chosen career path.
