On Thursday 21st August 2025, students across the county will finally receive their eagerly awaited GCSE results.  We understand that Results Day can be an emotional and overwhelming experience. Whether you’re celebrating your success, feeling uncertain, or still figuring things out – don’t worry, you’re not alone.

I’ve done my GCSEs – what next?

By law, you’re now required to stay in education or training until the end of the academic year in which you turn 18.  But that doesn’t mean you have to stay at school.

You have several exciting pathways to choose from, including:

• Full-time courses - at college
• Apprenticeships - earn while you learn
• A-Levels - at 6th form
