The college works with local schools to provide a range of courses and experiences for young people.
The college has excellent facilities with workshops and training environments equipped to a high standard. College staff are highly skilled and have expertise from a wide range of vocational areas.
Courses for young people in key stage four are available from entry level to level two. Subjects include a full range of vocational areas from Hairdressing to Engineering. Choice of qualification is selected in collaboration with the school to meet young people’s and curriculum priorities. Programmes and attendance are designed with schools and seek to integrate within young people’s whole programme of learning.
Groups of students may also access bespoke taster days. These can provide young people with a range of activities within their intended vocational area or across a range of areas. Taster days help provide young people with experiences to enable them to make clearer choices about their career choices.
Young people attending school link provision report a very high level of satisfaction and value from their experience.
