What Our Students Say

Each year, Derwentside College carries out a survey to find out how satisfied our students are and to compare our results with other colleges in the country. The survey is completed by students at the end of the college year and although the results are very positive each year, this year the results were more positive than ever before.

For all questions in the college survey, that can be compared with colleges across the country, Derwentside College students are much more satisfied, as the College scored much higher in all areas, including -

• The teaching on courses is good
• Students have a good relationship with course staff
• Classes are interesting
• Lecturers use a variety of ways of teaching
