Vocational
Studying a vocational course will provide you with a specialist vocational qualification, nationally respected and valued by industry. These courses are ideal if you are wishing to take a first step towards employment within a specific field and can lead to employment, career progression or further study.

Apprenticeships
An Apprenticeship is a work-based learning programme, which gives you the opportunity to build-up knowledge, gain qualifications, skills and experience and work alongside people who genuinely understand the industry and have experience they can pass on. Apprenticeships are an ideal option for individuals who are career focused and want to gain qualifications whilst working. More information can be found here.

Functional Skills
All full-time learners must study Functional Skills qualifications in: Communication, Application of Number and Information Technology. These skills are vital to success in your main studies and will also give you a head-start to employment later on. Attendance at Functional Skills is essential.
