gives you the opportunity to build-up knowledge, gain
qualifications, skills and experience and work alongside
people who genuinely understand the industry and have
experience they can pass on. Apprenticeships are an ideal

All full-time learners must study Functional Skills
qualifications in: Communication, Application of Number and
Information Technology. These skills are vital to success in
your main studies and will also give you a head-start to
employment later on. Attendance at Functional Skills is
essential.
