Childcare

If you would like to work in education and be an advocate for childcare, then these courses will give you both a nationally and internationally recognised qualification.  You will study a range of topics including the developing child, play and early years and safeguarding children.  The courses are practically based, enabling you to gain experience in a wide range of childcare settings.

 

Full Time Courses available:

  • CACHE Certificate in Introduction to Early Years Education and Care Level 2
  • CACHE Technical Diploma in Childcare and Education (Early Years Educator) Level 3

 

Part Time Courses available:

  • CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Supporting Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • CACHE Level 3 Diploma in Specialist Support for Teaching and Learning in Schools
  • CACHE Level 2 Certificate in Introduction to Early Years Education
  • CACHE Level 3 Diploma for the Early Years Workforce (Early Years Educator)

 

Assessment:

  • Level 3 Award in Assessing Competence in the Work Environment
  • Level 4 Award in Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice
  • Level 4 Certificate in Leading the Internal Quality Assurance of Assessment Processes and Practice

What could I earn?

NURSERY NURSE = £10,000 - £22,000

As a Nursery Nurse you will ensure that the children under your care develop and learn in a safe and supportive environment.  You will work with babies and young children from birth to five years in childcare settings.

 

NANNY = £13,000 - £26,000

As a Nanny you will work in partnership with a family taking responsibility for the child's safety, dressing, feeding, play activities, developing reading and writing skills, outings and more.

 

PRIMARY SCHOOL TEACHER = £22,000 - £33,000

As a Primary School Teacher you will help to give young children the best possible start in life.  You will be responsible for a child's educational, social and emotional development while in your care.  You will also need to be enthusiastic for the subjects you teach.
