About the DTIU

Derwentside College's Business Development Unit - Derwentside Training for Industry Unit (DTIU) aims to provide a one-stop-shop for all of your training needs and requirements. The DTIU has a dedicated workforce development team, who working closely with subject specialists and curriculum staff, can advise on a range of training needs.

The DTIU is able to tailor training according to your exact company requirements and has expertise in delivering a range of vocational qualifications in companies across the North East. We are currently able to offer NVQs in the following areas:
